Thank you for your understanding. PRE-VISIT TIPS Below are some tips to consider in preparation for your appointment that, if followed, should help the hair removal process be more comfortable, especially if this is your first time getting waxed. 1. ANTICIPATE ANY POTENTIAL PAIN. Although I do my best to minimize pain with my hair removal technique, it does not hurt to be prepared in advance. Not knowing your threshold for pain, it may be prudent to consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever like Advil, or Tylenol ¾ of an hour prior to your appointment – The timing should coincide with the start of your waxing session and should minimize any potential discomfort. 2. GROW OUT YOUR HAIR FOR THE WAX TO GRIP. A key step in preparing for your Brazilian Wax appointment is to grow out your hair. It is important to have at least 1/4 inch of hair in the respective region for the wax to grip. Hair growth typically takes about two to three weeks. 3. AVOID TAKING IN CAFFEINE AND/OR ALCOHOL THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. These can make your skin more sensitive, which would make the waxing process more uncomfortable. Water would be a preferred method of hydration. 4. WEAR COMFORTABLE AND LOOSE-FITTING CLOTHING. On the day of your appointment, be comfortable by wearing loose-fitting clothing. This will help prevent irritation and unnecessary chafing in the respective area(s) after your wax. Tight clothing can tend to rub against the skin and cause irritation. 5. AVOID EXPOSURE TO THE SUN. Prior to your wax, you should avoid exposure to sunlight in the areas to be waxed up to 48 hours before waxing. Sun exposure can make the skin drier, making it more sensitive resulting in pain during your session. 6. AVOID THE USE OF ANTIPERSPIRANTS, DEODORANTS, CREAMS OR OILS IN THE AREAS TO BE WAXED. The use of these products can clog pores and make the procedure more painful. The results may not be as good as they can be and can still have unwanted side effects like blemishes, irritation, and ingrown hairs. 7. UNDERSTAND WAXING IMPACT WHEN YOU ARE ON ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TREATMENTS. When you take medications or use topical creams, ointments, etc., skin can become more sensitive resulting in greater risk of a painful experience, a burn from the wax and even skin tears. An intake form will be provided the day of your first visit to inquire about potential over the counter and prescription medications that would impact the hair removal process. You must let Grace know if this changes any time after you have provided her your initial intake form. Quick reference: · Oral and topical antibiotics increase sensitivity – Wait until you are off your medication. · Retinol or Alpha hydroxy topicals – Stop using a week before waxing · Prescription exfoliants like Retin A, Differen, Tazorac – Wax after 3 months after stopping use · Accutane – Completely avoid waxing for a year; should get dermatologist permission. · Also, avoid any injectables, such as Botox or fillers, two weeks before your waxing appointment.Business Hours

Cancellation Policy
We currently do not employ a cancellation policy as we recognize that life happens and do not want to add additional stress to what is making you cancel at the moment.
Please note however, if you habitually cancel on the days of your appointments, you will be subjected to online booking restriction, waitlisted status, and/or a cancellation charge of 20%.
We will notify you of any change to your account status.
The time that you block and then cancel prevents Grace Full Wax from timely securing an appointment in that space and is lost income for us.
Thank you.
